It has layers everywhere, and its all funky. Right now its dark brown with weird faded dark maroonish dark blond..

Don't look @ my avatar, that's not how I look..

- I don't want any funky colors

- I don't want black hair with blonde highlights

- I don't want pitch black hair

A deep red would be nice, you could put some streaks in it to try it out before dying the whole thing.

I would suggest going to a mocha brown shade. There are more caramel colors vs. chocolate/ mocha tones. I would suggest the chocolate tones. If your looking for more of a dramatic look you can go a few shades lighter than your natural tone. But if you not looking for something too dramatic only go a shade or two up. And often stylists have a great idea and tips if your not exactly sure.

well, i think that if its a darkish color you should dye it black and get purple b.c it would blend in, i know you said you didn't funky colors but it would look really cool;
