I need great hairstyles for super fine, medium length hair.?

umm u can do that style with the little "PUFF" at the top of your head umm u could have like what my avatar has on? (can us see it) umm i think that a BUN is the best OH and layer your hair because if (is your hair thick) your hair isn't thick u can make it avarage thick i don't know how to explain haistyles without showing pics!!! 'Cinderella Hair' Hair Extensions?

I am looking to get hair extensions to give me lovely long hair like the celebs. A new salon has opened near me saying they do 'cinderella hair' extension.

I don't really want to go for a consultation then look pathetic if i can't afford them.

For instance, someone with an oval face yet is short and plump wouldn't look their best with bangs. Also, a prominent nose needs some balance by not having the hair too far down on the forehead. As long as you don't have "cow licks" you should be fine. The wonderful thing about an oval face is you can wear your hair short or long, bangs or no bangs. I have cow licks so my bangs would pop up in two places and looked stupid, but when I could get enough gel in them to convince them to lay flat it looked great.

i absolutely LOVE this shampoo. It has helped me throught those horrible hair days when i have to take a second shower.LOL!!!

the one I use is called Brunette Goddes and it by BedHead. you dont have to have brown hair to use it either. they just call it that cuz the shampoo is brown. It has alot of proteins and nutrients in it but . I love the smell (its so heavenly) and it made my hair so soft and silky and normally its tangled.It helped my flyaways and it gave me the volume that i never had. I have waves in my hair too and it eliminated the waves alot

You can take vitamins though that can keep your hair healthy and give it a better chance of growing faster. You can take prenatal vitamins, but ask your docter first since they are for pregnant women. Or what I use by Natures Bounty, its in a Pink Bottle/ Box and it's called Skin, Hair and Nails.

Biotin is what helps the hair grow and nails too. These vitamins taste really nasty but within a month my hair got stronger and my nails grow like there is no tomorrow.

I am the same way.

Down and straight looks good, as does slightly wavy.

Try a medium-high ponytail placed slightly to the side, or for a more chic look, try a ponytail at the base of the neck and to the side so it comes over your shoulder.

Half-up-half-down looks cute too, especially if you add a little clip in there somewhere.

And last but not least, try low pigtails, or low pigtail braids, which look more grown-up than regular pigtails.

If you have fair skin, you probably look very good in dark brown almost black hair. But you are probably bored with that. So I sugguest putting in caramel highlights to warm up the tone. It all depends on your style. If you like to be funky or edgy, you could put really light blonde highlights in. I personally like to go with natural browns to coppery or blondes.

im not emo but for a color i love when there is black underneath and then a dark brown on top...stay away from the emo popular chunky blonde highlights on black hair its never nice on anyone emo or not.

Alright i wore my hair like that for a formal Dance it was really easy. first you part your hair then make three SMALL ponytails bobby pin them to the other side of your head and then buy a pretty clip and put it where you see it on my head. i got so many complements on it! you will look fabulous trust me!

Try doing black highlights under your hair instead of on top.

i have a round face, gross one length hair that goes past my shoulders and i live in an extremely humid place.

when i let it go naturally its not entirely straight.. it has like one wave in the back.. but other than that its pretty straight.

i know its bad to have straight one length hair on a round face so i need to change!! i want medium length hair with a loose curl. only problem is.. my hair has never held a perm before! is there any way around this?

another question: im really fair skinned but i want brown hair.. would that look dumb?

Go to your local stylist and get her to cut you some layers. Add body to your hair and that will do wonders. I have hair right above my shoulders and mine is slightly curly too. I use a straight iron every morning. I prefer mine to be straight more than curly. As for dark hair and fair skin... I have dark brown hair and I am relatively light complected and I do not look dumb.

SINCE you have a round face, long hair doesn't suit your face very well. Short hairstyles such as a BOBcut would fit wonderfully. And like you said... you live in a humid place. So what better way to wear your hair than a bob cut? lol. If you have fair skin, you can pull of brown hair. I would probably get a lighter brown. =D I have pictures of bob hair cuts below. =) ALSO, you can get your hair in short layers all over called a razor cut. I have some pictures of these below. =D If you don't like going this short, maybe cut it to your shoulders with long layers. If you want shorter hairstyles, a pixie cut is always cute, but you'd have to have bold features to pull it off! =D I know I would NEVER be able to get a pixie cut. ***show pictures to your hairdresser so she knows EXACTYLE what you want*** good luck!

BANGS would always look cute! =) oh yea,.. be sure to get a good conditioner so your hair is more relaxed and less frizzy. Cold water is prefered over warm water to help frizziness. I would also not get your hair permed. It would just be more hard to take care of. =/ Been there...done that. lol!

No it will not look dunb. But it also depends on your eyebrows. If you have blonde, red, eyebrows brown haair might not be a good idea or maybe you could consider dying your eyebrows. Try cutting your hair should legth and putting in some layers. If you go to a professional just tell them what your thinking of and they will do it for you.

Parting your hair to the side and adding side bangs could help. It might add some cute style to your hair.

As for the bump in the back of your hair, try a flat iron maybe.

First of all, brown doesn't look bad with fair skin. But if your eyebrows are blonde or red (just not brown), it might not look good. If you want to dye it brown, go to the salon and ask what they think and also ask friends and family members what they think.

I say get angles in the front and long layers in the back (you can still get it whatever length you want).

You don't have to get a perm. Take your shower at night and when you get out, use mousse in your hair and let it air dry to about 75%. Put rollers in and keep them in at night and take them out in the morning (if your hair is still wet in the morning, use a hair dryer on low and then take out the rollers) and use a little hairspray. Although I value the opinion of others and I too was thinking of getting my haircut. I asked some friends,one guy said definitely shorter another one said long. wash everyday but you don`t need to actually shampoo your hair... try a Johnson`s shampoo that is soft and just gives you a deep clean or head and shoulders, considering your hair is shorter the conditioner may be what is actually making your hair look oily so try not using it for a while or a lighter kind...

if you are experiencing oiliness its probably because you are putting conditioner close to your roots. since conditioner is thick it tends to make hair oily after a while so try only to use a little bit on the ends. also if you are going to wash your hair everyday you will get more dandruff because shampoo dries your scalp, so you might want to try just using less conditioner and only towards the ends first.

I wash my hair every other day and I really think if you want your hair to not look greasy, try to minimize product that you put in your hair when styling. Also, I only put conditioner on the ends of my hair bc when I put it everywhere I feel like it gets too oily, but I love the John Freida collection. If you still want to shampoo everyday, maybe try not to blow dry as much, that will be the best way to keep your hair healthy.

Hi! My hair was always my natural hair colour, a really nice medium brown colour until about 5 months ago when I decided to dye it black. When I dyed it I was immediately disgusted with the result and I washed my hair many many many times in a row and was able to strip out most of the dye. About a week later, my hair colour was a shade lighter than the original colour.. then I went through all summer out in the sun and my hair got even lighter.. now it looks extremely faded and gross and I know it's all because of that stupid dye-job I gave myself..

So I'm finally getting roots.. I have medium length hair.. I'd like to let my natural hair colour grow all the way out. What is the best option here? Should I just let it grow and have big roots (ew)? Should I cut my hair really short to get rid of all the faded, damaged hair and let it grow in from there? ...

Any suggestions or comments would be VERY MUCH appreciated!! I want my hair to look healthy again...

go to a salon and have them dye your hair back to as close to natural as possible but please don't try this yourself because you will be very dissappointed. this is the best solution with great results

You might want to consider a color gloss--you can either get it done at a salon or buy a kit at the drug store.

Basically, these are the low-ammonia/no peroxide variety of hair colors. Since they lack the ingredients that damage your hair they are far less damaging--they subsequently also have less "lift", meaning they won't strip your natural hair color.

Also, if you use it yourself I would suggest not dying your roots at all. If you get the right shade it should blend in a bit better than it is now.

I have a few inches under shoulder length blonde hair. It's pretty straight no matter what, but I have some layers in and I'm thinking about getting a hair cut before school let's in on August 20th and I don't want to have layers again. My mom said no perms, bodywaves, anything with bad chemicals to possibly harm my hair. What kind of hair cut should I get? A good medium cut is good, you have more options .. Layer it around your face and cut it a bit shorter underneath .. I love mine .. and I put hair gunk in only once in awhile and I can do so many different styles .. kr

I think you should get medium length hair cut, and side bangs. You should get shampoo that curls your hair. My friends has some, and it's great. If that doesn't work, try talking your mom into ONLY one perm. So you can look extra hot on your first day of school. =D

even though i dont have layers this is what i did.....when my hair was about half-way down my back.....i went to my mom and I's hairstylist.....what he did is he put my hair into a pony tail and cut just above the rubberband.....my hair looked sooooo pretty.....you can try that or just get at least one inch cut off every week (or you can extend however many inches you want) until it suits your needs.....

Don't ever do layer cut but I will suggest you to go for more step cutting and continuously take of it every month like go to the parlour every month and show them if it required to cut other leave it for grow. This wayl you can maintain also and look smarter also.

I woudl say contact a local hair dresser and you, your mother and the hair dresser discuss some nice style and alternatives to perms! Goodluck! But i have some advice of my own. I have really long and straight hair. So what i do, is wet it in the morning, and use "got 2 be sexy volumptuopus volume", it comes in a red circular bottle. It makes my hair very wavy! Wavy hair needs a simple cut. Layering it would make it look more wavy. Just give it a simple trim. If it is hard to manage, a perm would give it neat curls.

- you could put a cute headband in and then curl it a little

-a messy pony tail and if you want a headband look especially great if you feel like curling

- i you have bangs pin them up

- french braid you hair

I DON'T recommend thinning at all. Through the years of cutting, I find that layers %26amp; razor cuts are the best weapon for thinning out the thickness of the hair. I wouldn't suggest you to do so. You can control your hair with Aussie products which I use for long time. All of my clients appreciated how I have taught them how to style theirs.

Do not let them razor cut or use thinning shears on your curls! That is a one-way ticket to frizzville. You can have them layer it a bit to reduce some of the bulk if that's the problem. Maybe a salon would do that better than a barber. If it is uncontrollable because of the curls, consider what products you are using. I am the kind of girl who doesn't wear make-up or heels and had never done the whole "hairdresser" thing until I was recently in a wedding as a bridesmaid. I was resistant the whole time, but in the end, I really liked what she did with my hair and I'd like to have my hair in a similar style for my own wedding...

The only thing I *didn't* like was the massive amounts of hairspray that were used in order to keep every strand of hair in perfect place so that nothing would move, even if I shook my head all around.

For my own wedding, I want to have my hair up for the ceremony, but down for the reception. I don't want any hairspray. I want my future husband to be able to touch my hair while we're dancing. What kind of up-do's are possible without hairspray? Should I just get the hair done right before the ceremony? It only has to last through the ceremony, then I'm taking it down anyway. I have medium length hair that goes a little past my shoulders. It is STRAIGHT hair. Medium thick.

I'm sure this is possible, but you'll wan to do some experientation before the big day. I typically wear my hair up on a day-to-day basis, but when I take it down, it's got all the "wrinkles" in it from being up. The same thing happens even if you use a ponytail holder - if you release the holder, you will have a line across your hair where the ring was.

My own suggestion is to choose one way to wear your hair and stick with it for the day. I like the idea of wearing it down, without product, because not only will you look like "you" in the pictures, your husband will be able to touch your hair at the reception and later that night and it will be down, long and beautiful, with no mars on it.

You can do any hairdo with out spray just tell the person doing your hair what you want to look like and no spray what's so ever and you can tell her why but make it very clear that it only needs to last until the end of the wedding. If you wan tit up for only the ceremony you won't need that much hairspray just tell your hairdresser that you don't like it and that you are planning taking your hair down for the reception and you want it to me able to move. You won't be doing any jumping around so your hair should stay in place just be careful and use lots of bobby pins. I suggest bringing a straightener though because with your hair being up you might get some kinks in it so just quickly have your MOH or one of your bride maids run the straightener through it.

If you are not planning on leaving it up long (how long is your ceremony?), there is really no need to put in that much hairspray. You could try going to get your hair done a couple of times in the time leading up to your wedding so you know what is easiest and what suits you/your hair best.

Have you thought about having your hair half up/half down? That way you don't have to worry about changing it after the ceremony. (Unless there is a gap between the ceremony and the reception you might feel rushed)

Try something interesting like black highlights... Black goes well with blue and brown, it neutralises them both. Light brown is too common.

I'm not sure what you mean by temporary highlights. Any lightening done on the hair is permanent; it does not wash out. Regarding the color, carmel-golden browns are very popular right now coupled with your natural color. They add warm and brighten the look without being too obtrusive

They sort them by lengths...the link I'm attaching is for medium lengths. I used to take pics too, but now that I've discovered the Toni and Guy Academy....I just go there..and the instructor knows the perfect look for your hair. I currently have a cut called graduated layers....it's really versatile. Either way, remember, just because a hair cut looks good in a pic...does not mean it will look good on you...and a good stylist will tell you if it won't work. Best of luck...I know allll about hair trauma...lol.

I would also take into account your body type. Pixie cut looks really great on a petite body type; a bigger build needs a bit more volume to the hair to look proportionate.

-I wouldn't suggest full out bangs, but instead a couple of shorter cut curls on either side of the face. Some girls at my school have these with curly hair and they look great. - Read the book and visit the sites below about curly hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your curly hair- be happy for life!

- To style your hair using the curly-girl method you will need gel and conditioner at the minimum. Some less useful, but still nice stuff would be a blowdryer, a diffuser (reduces frizz in curly/wavy hair when used with dryer), and a microfiber hair turban (to dry wet hair while sleeping or in the morning).

-The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Most shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent (aka sulfates). They dry out curly hair. Also you shouldn't brush your curly hair dry because it damages the hair and makes it poof.

- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. It will clean everything but super clingy silicones (read more about this at one of the websites) . Then rinse and spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse. It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair. Then let your hair air dry or use a blowdryer with a diffuser.

- Use a moisturizing conditioner, such as Aussie Moist Conditioner. The combo of products that I use daily is Garnier Fuctis Sleek and Shine Leave In Cream, Tressemme Clean Hold Gel, and Aussie Tizz No Frizz Gel, but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the websites.

- Your hair may seem worse at first, but it is just adjusting. This takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working.This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least visit the websites. Naturally curly hair can be beautiful! Hope this helps!

i have the same type of hair works for me, but its also the shape and size of your head to take in consideration if u have a really big head i would say no other wise go for it.

not really....... unless you straighten all of your hair. some people only iron their bangs... but i think this looks horrible. so.... the if you leave them curly they will look wierd. plus cutting some bangs will just leave this part of your hair even curlier than the rest because it's shorter... so i suggest you don't. there's some very nice haircuts for people with curly hair. find one you like and make sure you will feel comfortable with the legnth and style. good luck.

I have the same thing..and I tried it once. It doesnt really work unless you have straighter bangs. If your bangs are curly, or really thick, it would just look like your plastering your hair to your head..hehe. SORRY! But if their straighter, it would look great. i had long hair, got it cut short, and its finally been growing out like i've wanted it to. also try useing products like bed head manipulator, hairsrpay %26amp; hair putty

Try getting your side bangs cut shorter, like were they line up about halfway on your nose, that's how i have mine and i love it! also maybe try to get some shorter layers to give your hair more body. Hope I helped!

Girls...do you find men with medium/long hair attractive?

I am a 26 year old guy with shoulder length hair (slightly wavy). I get mixed opinion on my hair. Some people say it looks great, others say I should get it cut. Was wondering whats the majority opinion of people in general.

Do you find men with medium or long hair attractive. Or do u just prefer men with super short hair?
