Desperately need hair advice!!?

i have a round face, gross one length hair that goes past my shoulders and i live in an extremely humid place.

when i let it go naturally its not entirely straight.. it has like one wave in the back.. but other than that its pretty straight.

i know its bad to have straight one length hair on a round face so i need to change!! i want medium length hair with a loose curl. only problem is.. my hair has never held a perm before! is there any way around this?

another question: im really fair skinned but i want brown hair.. would that look dumb?

Go to your local stylist and get her to cut you some layers. Add body to your hair and that will do wonders. I have hair right above my shoulders and mine is slightly curly too. I use a straight iron every morning. I prefer mine to be straight more than curly. As for dark hair and fair skin... I have dark brown hair and I am relatively light complected and I do not look dumb.

Try curling the ends only and getting bangs, the bangs will really go wih your face shape. Here is a picture of what I am talking about...

okay, take baths with fresh water. your hair can be more moist like that. you have a round head, so short would not be good for you. the hairstyle you want is perfect and get brown hair, youll look good!

SINCE you have a round face, long hair doesn't suit your face very well. Short hairstyles such as a BOBcut would fit wonderfully. And like you said... you live in a humid place. So what better way to wear your hair than a bob cut? lol. If you have fair skin, you can pull of brown hair. I would probably get a lighter brown. =D I have pictures of bob hair cuts below. =) ALSO, you can get your hair in short layers all over called a razor cut. I have some pictures of these below. =D If you don't like going this short, maybe cut it to your shoulders with long layers. If you want shorter hairstyles, a pixie cut is always cute, but you'd have to have bold features to pull it off! =D I know I would NEVER be able to get a pixie cut. ***show pictures to your hairdresser so she knows EXACTYLE what you want*** good luck!

BANGS would always look cute! =) oh yea,.. be sure to get a good conditioner so your hair is more relaxed and less frizzy. Cold water is prefered over warm water to help frizziness. I would also not get your hair permed. It would just be more hard to take care of. =/ Been there...done that. lol!

No it will not look dunb. But it also depends on your eyebrows. If you have blonde, red, eyebrows brown haair might not be a good idea or maybe you could consider dying your eyebrows. Try cutting your hair should legth and putting in some layers. If you go to a professional just tell them what your thinking of and they will do it for you.

Parting your hair to the side and adding side bangs could help. It might add some cute style to your hair.

As for the bump in the back of your hair, try a flat iron maybe.

First of all, brown doesn't look bad with fair skin. But if your eyebrows are blonde or red (just not brown), it might not look good. If you want to dye it brown, go to the salon and ask what they think and also ask friends and family members what they think.

I say get angles in the front and long layers in the back (you can still get it whatever length you want).

You don't have to get a perm. Take your shower at night and when you get out, use mousse in your hair and let it air dry to about 75%. Put rollers in and keep them in at night and take them out in the morning (if your hair is still wet in the morning, use a hair dryer on low and then take out the rollers) and use a little hairspray. I knew a gal who had a somewhat round face and long straight hair. She kept the straight hair for years and years. I suggested to her to get a perm. WOW! the results were amazing. It was a maximum turn on for guys. Keep the brown hair, you'll look fantastic.
