Medium length hair - very curly.. gel?

Alright,

So i've got medium length hair , touching my shoulders about , and i have super curly and frizzy hair . I was wondering if i put gel in it while its wet what does it do? , and what are some hairstyles i can do with my hair?

I have the same type of hair. Gel is crap! If you like your curls you should blow dry your hair in the beginning for around 5 to 10 minutes and let the rest dry. That will look pretty good, brush it only a little though. If you don't like your curls that much you should right when you get of the shower put in recovery complex anti-frizz and then put in super skinny serum. After you do that you should blow dry til it is finished and if it gets a little frizzy put some anti-frizz stuff and blow dry for a minute. Don't foget to brush the back. Frizz and curls turn out in the back a lot. Good luck! :) \

And for hair styles, if you have thin hair like me you can leave it down a lot or put in small head bands, or sometimes high ponytails look nice. If you have thick hair you should put in chunky head bands, or medium head bands. I wouldn't leave it down normally because thick hair frizzes more then thin hair. Play around wiht your hair!

P.S. Make sure when you blow dry you don't burn your hair.

it's fine if you put gel in it when wet, when you blow dry it some of the frizz is gone.

IT MAKES IT POOFY AND HARD I HAVE TRYED THAT BEFORE AND I HAVE THE SAME KIND OF HAIR! I WISH YOU LUCK...

I prefer moose, it sticks less to your hands, and you dont get the white flakes you get with gel. You may want to try a defuser, or dont blow dry your hair after you put moose or gel in it then let it dry. Good luck!

I only put gel or mousse in my hair when it's damp.

I don't think it will really do much but make a mess if you put it in your hair when it's still wet. Try it out and see for yourself if you want to know how it does with your hair.

I don't like gel very much; it tends to make your curls too "starchy".

I use the KMS product line. When my hair is damp, I apply a bit of the Curl Gloss AND a lesser bit of Bounce Back Spray. (Tip: put a few squirts of the products in your hands, rather than directly on your hair, and massage it into your hair. You'll get better distribution.)

Then I fluff it as I blowdry with a diffuser attachment.

I sometimes like to wear mine back in a clip, with curls spilling out over the top of the clip and a few curls pulled out around the face.
