So, I was growing out my hair, and I wanted to know if it was okay to have medium length hair in Deca conferences in high school, which is often marketing in business, as long as it's not all messy, and groomed enough.

Is it professional to have medium length hair in Deca?
High school it should be fine. When you get out of high school then you have to make sure you look professional. That doesn't mean you have to have short hair but it has to go with the industry your in. Having long hair may make a bad first impression with some people but it all depends on what you know, your skills and how you present yourself. I am in business school for marketing management and I have quite long hair for a guy, I always tie it up tight before any formal meetings or presentations. hope that helps.

If you're doing anything where you want to look professional, you definitely don't want to have spiky blue hair.
However, you can probably get away with it in high school/college. Campuses see that kind of thing all the time. If you're in an actual job interview, lawyering, marketing, or general business where you're required to have a suit and tie, the general rule is if you're a guy, you don't want your hair to be long enough to touch your shirt collar or go past it.

I am have been in DECA for the past three years they are not going to judge the length of your hair, just if you groomed your hair.
Just make sure you have on correct business attire
Oh and i am not sure what competition you are doing, but keep in mind for the test you do not have to be as groomed as you are for the role plays
