Need straightening tips for medium length fine hair?

What products are good for straightening medium length (just at shoulders) fine hair? It閳ユ獨 not overly curly but it is wavy and prone to frizz out if I do too much to it. I閳ユ獡 not good at styling to begin with. I閳ユ獡 looking for a product to use in my hair as I blow dry to straighten it out. But something that really works -- so far I haven閳ユ獩 found anything.

What type of brush is best when blow drying -- should it be a large flat brush or a large round brush? I get conflicting info on brushes.

What is the best brand/size flat iron to use?

Thanks for the help!

Hi,

when your blow drying your hair use a flat brush thats fairly wide if you want your hair straighter. If you want your hair to be wavy use the round kind. Then get a conair straightener i have one with "turbo" power that works really well because it gives it more power. after your hair is straight spray hairspray on your brush and lightly brush through your hair so it stays straight the way you want be care ful to not get to much hairspray in one area so i always brush the back under part of my hair first and then brush through the front just so i dont get to much hairspray there. I hope this helps!

good luck!

well.... i'll help u with the first thing:

Biosilk hair serum. apply this product onto wet or damp hair, before straighteniing it. This product protects your hair against heat damage, as well as enivormental hazards.

When getting a hair straightener, u should look for ones with a ceramic plate. If you want a hair straightener that gives u salon results, use Infiniti Tourmaline straightener by Conair (look it up on their site)

hope i helped:)

I swear by Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Pin Straight Shampoo and Conditioner.

Next, I then use on damp hair: John Frieda Collection Frizz-Ease Downplay Volume Reducer, and Garnier Fructis Smoothing Milk (in the summer, though, I use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Humidity Smoothing Milk instead), then comb it out, and let it air dry if I'm not in a hurry. I really only blowdry it when I absolutely have to, because I hate to fry my hair. It's so damaging! I'd rather get up a half an hour early and let my hair have time to air dry than sleep an extra half an hour and have to blow dry it.

Once it's dry, then I use a wide ceramic straightener. NEVER USE A 2-IN-1 STRAIGHTENER AND CURLER. They don't clamp down on your hair properly.

If you want, you can use a finishing creme, put a VERY tiny dab, distribute it through your palms, and then just run your hands through your hair (be careful with this, because if you use too much, it WILL make your hair greasy and/or weight it down), but I really only use that when it's a special occasion.

Hope I helped! Have fun, and experiment lots!

well, what i do is i just use a fine-toothed comb, like this:

well, i told you what kind of brush...but if you try to blow dry it straight, it only works for the hair in front...i've heard that Conair makes pretty good flat irons...but if you have a curling iron, though curling irons dont work as well...you can use that as a straightening iron...peace, love, stop the war
