Alright i wore my hair like that for a formal Dance it was really easy. first you part your hair then make three SMALL ponytails bobby pin them to the other side of your head and then buy a pretty clip and put it where you see it on my head. i got so many complements on it! you will look fabulous trust me!

Try doing black highlights under your hair instead of on top.
It will look really pretty. If you do not want black, i would suggest a blonde color. Your color would look nice with a very dark or very light contrast.

try blonde tips. i like jet black hair with small sections of hair that r purple or red. that really makes a statement. any color that would normally be use for highlights looks nice.

personally for men my new favorite is spray wax, you have to be careful though many brands tend to leave a oily residue but it is very pliable and doesn't flake through the day

P.S. These cuts might be longer then what you're thinking. I think of Medium is to the shoulder, where as others think that Medium is a little under the ear.

i have a round face, gross one length hair that goes past my shoulders and i live in an extremely humid place.
when i let it go naturally its not entirely straight.. it has like one wave in the back.. but other than that its pretty straight.
i know its bad to have straight one length hair on a round face so i need to change!! i want medium length hair with a loose curl. only problem is.. my hair has never held a perm before! is there any way around this?
another question: im really fair skinned but i want brown hair.. would that look dumb?

Go to your local stylist and get her to cut you some layers. Add body to your hair and that will do wonders. I have hair right above my shoulders and mine is slightly curly too. I use a straight iron every morning. I prefer mine to be straight more than curly. As for dark hair and fair skin... I have dark brown hair and I am relatively light complected and I do not look dumb.

okay, take baths with fresh water. your hair can be more moist like that. you have a round head, so short would not be good for you. the hairstyle you want is perfect and get brown hair, youll look good!

SINCE you have a round face, long hair doesn't suit your face very well. Short hairstyles such as a BOBcut would fit wonderfully. And like you said... you live in a humid place. So what better way to wear your hair than a bob cut? lol. If you have fair skin, you can pull of brown hair. I would probably get a lighter brown. =D I have pictures of bob hair cuts below. =) ALSO, you can get your hair in short layers all over called a razor cut. I have some pictures of these below. =D If you don't like going this short, maybe cut it to your shoulders with long layers. If you want shorter hairstyles, a pixie cut is always cute, but you'd have to have bold features to pull it off! =D I know I would NEVER be able to get a pixie cut. ***show pictures to your hairdresser so she knows EXACTYLE what you want*** good luck!
BANGS would always look cute! =) oh yea,.. be sure to get a good conditioner so your hair is more relaxed and less frizzy. Cold water is prefered over warm water to help frizziness. I would also not get your hair permed. It would just be more hard to take care of. =/ Been there...done that. lol!

No it will not look dunb. But it also depends on your eyebrows. If you have blonde, red, eyebrows brown haair might not be a good idea or maybe you could consider dying your eyebrows. Try cutting your hair should legth and putting in some layers. If you go to a professional just tell them what your thinking of and they will do it for you.
Parting your hair to the side and adding side bangs could help. It might add some cute style to your hair.
As for the bump in the back of your hair, try a flat iron maybe.

First of all, brown doesn't look bad with fair skin. But if your eyebrows are blonde or red (just not brown), it might not look good. If you want to dye it brown, go to the salon and ask what they think and also ask friends and family members what they think.
I say get angles in the front and long layers in the back (you can still get it whatever length you want).
You don't have to get a perm. Take your shower at night and when you get out, use mousse in your hair and let it air dry to about 75%. Put rollers in and keep them in at night and take them out in the morning (if your hair is still wet in the morning, use a hair dryer on low and then take out the rollers) and use a little hairspray. I have the same kind of hair as you (mostly straight) and these rollers work incredibley for a lose, natural looking curl: http://www.folica.com/Caruso_Professi_r1...

I knew a gal who had a somewhat round face and long straight hair. She kept the straight hair for years and years. I suggested to her to get a perm. WOW! the results were amazing. It was a maximum turn on for guys. Keep the brown hair, you'll look fantastic.

Although I value the opinion of others and I too was thinking of getting my haircut. I asked some friends,one guy said definitely shorter another one said long. Each guy will be different so choose a hairstyle that you are happy with and complements your features and I'm sure you will attract the kind of guys that like you for just being you not trying to please others......I decided to keep it long for now but still may get the nerve to go above the shoulders soon. I usually do keep it a little shorter now so this is the first time it's been long for awhile........
